About Us
OUR STORY
Our story began over 25 years ago. We were young, active kids constantly driving our parents crazy. As passionate five-years old, we fell in love with sports, competition and the art of team building. We’ve competed in nearly every sport - from basketball, neighborhood relay races, to football and video games.
As kids, we often found several ways to remain active. If there was an opportunity to have a hurdle race over five-gallon water jugs at home, better believe we were apart of it. No matter the sport, we were front and center.
This mindset and lifestyle not only remained with us as kids, but also followed us throughout our adulthood. This in turn led to the development of EQ SPORTS, where we believe challenging our future leaders to use teamwork and camaraderie to achieve team goals, while having fun takes precedence. We believe in our kids and are passionate about building future leaders today.
WHY EQ SPORTS?
Over the years, we have witnessed a decrease in physical and social activity within the youth. Most of the tools and dynamics we learned as kids are simply nonexistent today.
At EQ SPORTS, we truly make sports FUN! We want our youth to make staying active a part of their lifestyle and incorporate the traits learned into their educational and professional lives’. EQ SPORTS serves a greater purpose. It is our goal to inspire, develop and provide the tools to advance our kids. We offer a safe haven for the youth to see the benefits of an active lifestyle while developing strong networking abilities.
We understand this change cannot happen overnight, but aim to instill healthy habits they can further develop overtime. Our vision will not be achieved without the support of the future’s parents and guardians.
